Amber is a seasoned therapist with over 9 years of focused experience helping adults affected by the family disease of addiction and co-occurring issues. She has provided counseling services in a variety of treatment settings, including court-mandated therapeutic communities, outpatient treatment, inpatient detoxification and residential treatment, and medication-assisted treatment.
Amber’s therapeutic approach is person-centered, solution-focused, and grounded in an open-minded environment conducive to growth and positive change. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities and adjusts her approach based on each client’s unique needs and goals.
Amber has specialized training in ART, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, a brief and integrative approach which facilitates rapid and long-lasting recovery from symptoms associated with trauma, depression, addiction, and other mental health issues.
She is skilled at identifying and leveraging the unique strengths and skills of each client, fostering a healthier level of functioning and helping individuals reduce the power that struggles have over them. By empowering her clients, she helps them achieve a more fulfilling sense of self-esteem and overall life satisfaction.
